The challenge
Hotbox had been doing their thing for over 20 years, but their marketing hadn't kept up with where they were headed. They were trying to speak to everyone, from corporates to creatives, office workers to home workers, but were struggling to stand out. Their website felt dated, their sales materials lacked clarity, and they had no real content strategy to speak of. They needed someone to cut through the noise, figure out who they should actually be talking to, and give them a voice that made people sit up and pay attention. Basically, they needed to stop blending in and start standing out.

The story
Hotbox have been making practical workplace products since 2001. They're the original creators of the office caddy, and they've since evolved to include hybrid work bags in their range. Their products are multi-purpose, colourful, personalisable, and made from sustainable materials.
When they approached us in January 2025, they had the fundamentals. Great products, strong imagery, and a diverse customer base built over two decades. But their marketing wasn't quite packing the punch it needed to.
Through our marketing strategy process, we identified the gaps in their comms and worked with the team to sharpen their messaging across multiple audiences and markets. Since then, we've been working closely with the team to update their sales assets, refresh their website, and create digital content that reflects who they are as a brand.
The result
In just six months, Hotbox saw a 65% increase in impressions, a 127% increase in reactions, and a whopping 184% jump in clicks across their social channels.
Their email marketing stats, which were already strong, got even better, with open rates up 18% (now averaging 30.41%) and click-through rates up 11% (averaging 12.45%).
Most importantly, they now have a confident, consistent brand across all touchpoints and the ability to make marketing decisions based on data, not guesswork.
